Notes

Programme
The above programme has now been formulated as a result of speakers confirming their attendance. Speakers are invited to use Power Point slides and are requested to bring them to the meeting and also to send them to Andrew Tomkins (a.tomkins@ich.ucl.ac.uk) before the meeting so that he can pick up any “overlap” or “gaps” and make preliminary plans to make slides available to participants on CD Rom and the SCN Nutrition and HIV website.

Posters
It is envisaged that poster boards will be available at Chennai. To assist with administration and resources at Chennai, those planning to present posters are requested to inform Andrew Tomkins by 24th February at the latest (a.tomkins@ich.ucl.ac.uk). Participants are encouraged to present posters and should not feel under pressure to provide final results only. Posters describing work in progress are welcome. Further, presenters are welcome to use ordinary A4 paper and should not feel that large, professionally produced glossy posters are obligatory. It is anticipated that the posters will be displayed before the start of the Working Groups 1 and 2 (at 0900hrs) and left up during the lunch break (1200 – 1300 hrs) and after Working Group 3 finishes. Summaries (300 words maximum) with 1 figure drawn in Powerpoint style will be placed on the SCN Nutrition/HIV web site.

Please address any communications about this programme to Andrew Tomkins or Jos Perriens (perriensj@who.int)
