Objectives
- To share current activities of the different members, issues,
opportunities, related to nutrition of the SAC
Street Children in
Dhaka: Socio-cultural Correlates of Nutrition & Health. Saiqa Siraj (BRAC,
Bangladesh) and Tahmeed Ahmed (ICDDR,B)
- To share and discuss the 2008 work plan
- To share and discuss the M&E Framework concept note and identify
people who want to be on the M&E Framework Nutrition WG
- To discuss the new WHO growth reference for school-aged children and
adolescents

Remarks can address:
- Some vulnerability indicators in SAC such as height, mothers'
education, etc, as a vulnerability indicator to identify high community
risks from the MCH perspective, it can also help to prioritize those
schools to prevent further damage
- School age offer a captive population where nutritional behaviors can
be promoted and thus future, specially in rural environments
- What happens with stunting of SAC, their functional capacity and the
long terms effects
